> How much do you charge for overdue fines?

Overdue books are fined at $0.10 per day; audio-visual materials are fined at $0.25 per day. Overdue reserve items are fined at $0.25 per hour.

> What happens if I lose a book?

Lost books are billed at the current cost of the book or $50 if the book is out of print. There is also an additional $15 fee to cover the processing costs of cataloging the replacement copy.

> If I lose a book can I just give the library another copy of the book?

Usually, a replacement copy in good condition can be accepted in place of paying for the replacement. There will still be a $15 processing fee to cover the processing costs of cataloging the replacement copy.
