Brimson Grow Library Circulation Policies


Library circulation policies cover three areas:


Who May Borrow Materials

The following people may borrow materials from Brimson Grow Library:

Students, Faculty, Administration, Staff, Alumni/ae and Trustees of Northern Baptist Theological Seminary are all eligible to receive library cards from Brimson Grow Library.

Members of the other 64 ILCSO schools in Illinois may borrow materials using the identification provided by their school.

Students and Faculty from member schools of the Association of Chicago Theological Schools (ACTS) may apply for library borrowing privileges. Application should be made at the Circulation Desk during business hours, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Other guests may purchase a library card at the Brimson Grow Library circulation desk during business hours, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The cost of a library card is $50 a year for ABC Pastors, graduate students, local pastors, and denominational laity. Shorter-term cards are also available: $15 for one quarter or $30 for half a year.

Everyone is welcome to use materials in the library even without a library card.
