Andrew Tooley is Adjunct Professor of Church History
Andrew Tooley is a Ph.D. Candidate in the History of Christianity and American Religious History, at the University of Stirling, Stirling, Scotland. He has served as the Project Director for the Study of American Evangelicals at Wheaton College, providing teaching in African American history, the history of Christianity and theology and culture at both Wheaton and the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. During seminary studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, he served as graduate teaching assistant to Dr. Douglas Sweeney, Director of the Carl F.H. Henry Center.
Andrew has ministered broadly in Christ’s church, serving congregations during both seminary and graduate school. At Northern Seminary he teaches in the lay Church Certificate training program, providing leadership training for church members and leader who are seeking graduate level study.
