Background

Harry Parker has served as Adjunct Professor of Preaching since 1997. He is a graduate of Northern and received his D.Min. from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with an emphasis in preaching and worship. Since 1990 he has been the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Oak Park.

His twin passions in ministry are for effective Biblical preaching and spiritual development. His primary "mentors" in spirituality are Benedict and Ignatius of Loyola.
