James Wolfe

Adjunct Professor of Baptist Studies

Jim Wolfe is pastor of First Baptist Church, Pontiac, Illinois where he has served since 1990.  Prior to serving in Illinois Wolfe served two churches in New Jersey.  Wolfe attended American Baptist related Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, West Virginia where he met his wife Janet, a registered nurse. 

Jim attended Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological Seminary)earning an M.Div. and D.Min.  Jim received his Ph.D. in theological studies from the Graduate Theological Foundation in 2007.
