Carla A. Waterman has been teaching at the intersection of trinitarian theology, corporate worship and everyday life since 1995. Dr. Waterman first came to Northern in 2000 to teach in the Worship and Spirituality Program established by the late Robert E. Webber. Dr. Waterman is currently Affiliate Professor of Spiritual Formation.

Dr. Waterman is the author of Songs of Assent (www.watermanuscripts.com), and President of In the Kingdom Ministries, Inc., a spiritual retreat and mentoring ministry in the United States and abroad. She is also active in the ancient-future worship world, and is on the faculty of the Robert E. Webber Institute of Worship Studies.

Carla has been married to Wyatt for 27 years, and they are presently engaged in the long process of walking their 17 year-old-son out into the wide world of adulthood.
