Along with visiting the campus, you will want to apply for admission. It's relatively simple. You need to provide the following admissions materials:

• A $35.00 application fee (non-refundable).
• A completed Application for Admission . Apply online here.
• Official transcripts of all academic work done beyond the high school level at accredited institutions. Applicants must have earned a bachelor degree from an accredited institution
• Three letters of reference
• A confidential self-reported health form
• An autobiographical statement (400 words or more)

If you are applying for the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Christian Ministries, a Masters in Youth Ministry or Worship and Spirituality, you also need to provide:

• A letter from your church stating that the church affirms your study
• If English is not your native language, and you have not completed a degree in which the courses were taught in English, you will need to submit:
  • Test scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) indicating that you have earned a score of 550 or higher on the paper based exam or 213 or higher on the computer based exam.

Application deadlines are one month prior to the first day of the quarter for national students. As soon as your information has arrived, we will make an admissions decision usually within two to three days. International students must complete the admissions process nine months in advance of fall enrollment (in order for Northern to have adequate time to prepare required documents).
