Northern Seminary welcomed friends, students, faculty, and staff to its annual Founders Day celebration on October 8, 2010. The evening, which is focused on raising financial support student scholarships, was highlighted by an address from Dr. Michael Quicke,Charles W. Koller Professor of Preaching & Communication, at Northern Seminary. He is a world-renown speaker and writer. His book, 360 Degree Preaching was just recognized as one of the 25 most influential preaching books of the last 25 years by Christianity Today. He spoke about being, “the people of God at work in fresh ways.” Below is a video of his address.
The story of Annie Dieselberg, an alumna of Northern, was shared through a video about Nightlight Ministry.
In addition, the story of three new students was shared later in the evening.
Northern is equipping the church to change the world. Our students and graduates are serving in life-changing ministries around the globe. After Dr. Quicke’s message, Greg Henson shared a little about how Northern has progressed over the past two years.
Over the past 24 months, Northern has increased enrollment by 32% and more than doubled the number of programs and educational opportunities it offers. Students are following God’s call in new and exciting ways. Your support of student scholarships makes this possible.
