Audit a Course

In order to have an audit recorded on a transcript, the student must formally register as an auditor and must attend at least eighty percent of the class sessions. A professor may exclude auditors from a particular course by notifying the Registrar before registration that auditors will not be permitted. No course credit can be changed to audit after late registration. Tuition for audits will be charged on a per-credit basis at a lesser audit rate.

To register as an auditor, fill out the online application here and contact the to let us know you want to audit a course. Auditing a course is a great way to get a taste of seminary education or continue learning after graduation.

Northern Alumni/ae

Students who have a degree from Northern Seminary must also register for any course they would like to audit.  However, they are only required to complete the application and registration form available here.
