Adjunct Professor of New Testament
Lynn Cohick (Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania) is Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College and an Adjunct Professor of New Testament at Northern. She is interested in how Jews and Christians lived out their faith in the ancient settings of Hellenism and the Roman Empire, as well as how Jews and Christians today can better appreciate and understand each other. Lynn also studies women in the ancient world, especially how they celebrated their religions and went about their daily lives. She enjoys studying the Apostle Paul and his epistles within their larger Jewish and Greco-Roman milieux. Her publications include Philippians in the Story of God Commentary (Zondervan, 2013); Ephesians in New Covenant Commentary (Eugene, OR: Cascade Books, 2010); Women in the World of the Earliest Christians (Baker Academic, 2009).
