Visiting Student Application
Please complete the following information to be considered as a visiting student at Northern Seminary. A visiting student is one who is already enrolled at a seminary or graduate school and is simply seeking to take one course at Northern Seminary. ACTS (Association of Chicago Theological Schools) students should use the ACTS form supplied by your school rather than this visiting student form. There is a $35 application fee. Pay Online Now
In order to be considered as a Visiting Student, you must supply a current transcript from your seminary or graduate school confirming your enrollment and good standing. In place of an official transcript, you may have your registrar send a letter of confirmation verifying your enrollment or good standing. One of these must be received prior to your admission and course registration.
If you prefer, you can also download this PDF application and return it to Northern in lieu of this online application.
Note: A Visiting Student status is reserved for a student who intends to take only one course at Northern and have the course grade sent to your current Seminary or Graduate School. ACTS students should not use a Visiting Student Application but should register through your school’s registrar. Non-ACTS students may only take one course in a Visiting Student status, a student who desires more than one class should apply as a Student At Large. Use the regular Application for Admission as a Student At Large (may take up to 12 hours in SAL status).
Submitting this application indicates that you have supplied accurate and honest information and that you agree to follow all policies and procedures of Northern Seminary.
