Professor of Old Testament

Claude Mariottini was born in Brazil and came to the USA in 1963.  While attending college he pastored churches in Pomona and San Juan Capistrano in Southern California.  He also served as a missionary with the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention with Brazilians and Portuguese who lived in San Franscisco.  He was also the speaker for the Portuguese Baptist Hour, a weekly radio program in Portuguese.  In addition to his pastorate in California, he also pastored chruches in Kentucky, Missouri, and Illinois.  He has been teaching at Northern since 1988.  Currently, he is the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Chicago, IL.  He has written several commentaries and articles for professional journals and Bible dictionaries.
