Stanley Hauerwas: Theology and Mission Lectureship

Do We Still Need the Church? Building a Community for Mission

Many are walking away from the church. Others who still love God don’t see the need for church anymore.  All these have lost hope that God is working in and through the church to save a lost world.

Join with renowned theologian Stanley Hauerwas as he casts a vision for a church the world can believe in.  He will lead us in how to build a robust community as the church, moving beyond merely gathering individuals from Sunday to Sunday.

An event like this would normally cost at least $100 to attend. Northern Seminary is so committed to resourcing local pastors, we are asking you only to help with the cost of keeping the lights on and the coffee hot (and the cost the breakfast on Friday morning).  We are covering the rest.
