Northern Seminary partners with the the National Baptist Congress and the R. H. Boyd Publishing Company for the 2020 Vision Conference (June 17–19, 2020).

The 2020 Vision Conference has shifted to a virtual conference because of COVID-19. Several Northern professors are included in the program of virtual presentations and webinars for your spiritual enrichment and encouragement. The following is the schedule (all times Central Time):

Wednesday, June 17, 2020

10:00a.m. – Welcome from LaDonna Boyd, Fifth-generation President/CEO, R. H. Boyd Publishing

10:30am – Message from Dr. William D. Shiell, eleventh President of Northern Seminary, addressing the partnership with Northern Seminary, the National Baptist Congress, and R.H. Boyd.

11:00am – Sermon from Dr. T. L. Brown, Host Pastor

3:00pm – Developing the Next Generation of Thinkers and Doers: Culture, COVID, and Christ Hosted by Jonathan Brooks (Northern Seminary) Dr. Marlon Coleman and Dr. Heather Burton. This session will focus on the importance of developing children, youth, and young adult leaders and ministry.

11:00am – Juneteenth Commemoration- Celebrating our Freedom through the Arts and Creative Expression– A Conversation with Dr. Freddie Haynes, LaDonna Boyd, Dr. Pamela Hardy, and Henry B. Hicks, CEO of the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville, TN.

3:00pm – Oratorical Contest and Scholarship Giveaway- Hosted by Dr. Heather Burton

7:00pm – Conclusion: A Journey through the Years and closing message from LaDonna Boyd
