“Out of the Ashes”
In our country, African American heritage has contributed to all aspects of culture, art and faith. Out of the heaviness of oppression and inequality, African Americans have continued to rise and remain true to the calling of the Church and it’s mission to be a unified body. Our Black History Month teaching series will highlight what has come forth as a result of the faithfulness within the black faith community. Praise, Perseverance and Purpose are qualities and characteristics that stand true in the black community, and we will highlight each one in the month of February.
