Northern Student’s Newly Acclaimed Book Tackles Regret
What if regrets no longer haunted your thoughts? Northern student and accomplished author, Michelle Van Loon, skillfully tackles the topic of regret and true transformation in If Only: Letting Go of Regret. Released last summer, this wise and perceptive book was recently given an Award of Merit in the Christian Living category from the Christianity Today Book Awards.
In her blog, Michelle elaborates that she wrote the book “to encourage readers to discover that no choice we’ve made in the past is beyond God’s power to transform us. Sometimes the change we want most happens in the process of dealing with our regrets, rather than attempting to silence those “woulda, coulda, shouldas” with a round of resolutions.”
Michelle delves into how Christ can redeem our regrets and transform us from the inside out. If you’re looking to do some internal spring cleaning, this may be just the book for you.
