President’s October Newsletter
Dear Friends,
A successful student at Northern Seminary is a “reliable witness who is able to teach others” (2 Timothy 2:2). This year we’ve grown in faculty and students. Northern’s 2018 Enrollment increased 9% over last year, and we’ve seen a 25% increase over a three year period.
These students can’t come without your help and the faithful giving of these foundations who support women and men to fulfill their calling to the local church. Thank you for your generosity.
2018 Founders Day: A Day of Celebration
Nearly 200 alumni, friends, students and supporters joined us for Founders Day 2018. The event featured a luncheon with Derwin Gray, a Faculty Convocation, Student/Alumni Book Signing, and the fourth annual New Kind of Preacher Forum. Over $90,000 was raised for Northern Seminary faculty and students!
ELEVATE WORSHIP CONFERENCE IN NEBRASKA
SHE LEADS: A MISSIO ALLIANCE SUMMIT
The world has an old, painful story about men and women. This year the #metoo moment brought to light some of the most disturbing parts of the story and the #churchtoo moment forced us to confront how much the brokenness of the world has entered the Church. This broken story is deeply painful on a personal and communal level.
But this is not how God sees our story. On November 10 we’re gathering folks who both know the brokenness and have better stories to tell. Won’t you join us to hear their stories and share your own?
Join us at Northern Seminary as we live stream this event.
