Commencement – June 11, 2016
Northern is proud to present the graduating class of 2016!
Join us as we celebrate the forty-three graduates at 10am, Saturday, June 11th. This is the 101st Commencement of Northern Seminary. The event will take place at Hammerschmidt Chapel on the campus of Elmhurst College. See below for map and directions.
Directions:
FROM THE SEMINARY
Take Butterfield Road east to Rt. 83. [Note: a mile east of the seminary Butterfield Road forks sharply to the left–22nd street continues east. Turn left at the stoplight at the fork and continue on Butterfield to Route 83 (Kingery Highway).] Go north on 83 to St. Charles Road (at the Elmhurst water tower). Turn right onto St. Charles (east) go to Prospect Ave. (about a mile) turn left (north) on Prospect Ave.
Go several blocks and look for the Elmhurst College campus which will be on the left. Turn left on Alexander Blvd. Just past the athletic field, look for a sign on the left for Hammerschmidt Chapel and parking. Turn left and drive as far as the road goes. The chapel is at the end of the road on the left. Turn right and follow the road to the parking lot.
FROM CHICAGO
Take I-290 (Eisenhower Expressway) west to St. Charles Road West exit. Continue west on St. Charles to Prospect (about a mile) and turn right (north) onto Prospect. Follow the instructions in the second paragraph to the Chapel.
