Purpose

Northern Seminary offers a Graduate Certificate in Baptist Leadership that provides practitioners and pastors a robust and accredited education in the distinctives of Baptist theology, formation, and ministry.

Certificate Details

  • Each student must apply and be accepted via Northern Seminary’s admissions department.
  • Northern Seminary will teach and administer five accredited graduate courses that can be completed in as little as fifteen months.
  • Upon completion, students will receive a “Graduate Certificate in Baptist Leadership.”
  • Northern’s Program Director will be available throughout the program for coaching, mentoring, and advising.
  • Students must abide by Northern’s core documents and policies while enrolled.
  • Courses may be offered virtually through Northern Live or in person. Travel expenses for in person courses are not provided through Northern.
  • Every graduate of Northern Seminary is permitted one free audit after graduation.

Cost

The cost per student for the certificate is $6,060.00

When does the next academic term begin? 

Northern Seminary does not run on a traditional semester calendar. Classes begin every 10 weeks. Open enrollment allows you to register throughout the year.

Are the classes virtual or in-person?

Northern classes are primarily virtual but include several in-person sessions per year.
