San Antonio Center

In Fall 2020, Northern Seminary opens its San Antonio Center, located at 708 W. Summit Ave in Midtown, in partnership with Mission City Renewal and The Impact Guild. Students in the San Antonio area can earn a Masters degree or certificate via interactive live-streaming classes in community with other local learners.

**COVID-19 Notice: San Antonio students can begin classes in Fall 2020 via live-streaming courses in their homes. In person gathering are on hold until further notice.

Students will take classes from their home or office via Northern’s unique interactive live-streaming technology (Northern Live), which enables you to engage in a vibrant classroom experience and interact with Northern’s premier faculty and other students in real time.

San Antonio students will gather as a learning community twice per quarter for worship and a meal together. These gatherings, along with interaction through a Facebook group, will give students a space to share how God is working in the city. In person gatherings will be on hold due to COVID-19 until further notice.

The Master of Divinity and the Master of Arts in Christian Ministries can be completed entirely in San Antonio through live-streaming classes. (If students choose a specialization in the MDiv or MA, they will travel to annual one-week intensive classes on the main campus in Chicago.)

Northern offers the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts, and Certificate programs at the San Antonio Center. Students may choose one of several specializations, including Theology & Mission, New Testament, Christian Ministries, Christian Community Development, Worship, and many more.

Classes are offered conveniently in the evenings on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Students in a specialization cohort will take a sequence of classes at the same time each week.
