Search Everything: Make use of EBSCO Discovery Service to search across all library databases, including the Northern Seminary Library online catalog.
If you are connecting from off campus, you will see a yellow, “Hello, Guest” menu bar across the top of your search screens:
Click on “Hello, Guest” in order to login with your Northern Seminary email address and password.
By default, your search results are limited to “Available in Library Collection”:
You can click on the “X” to remove “Available in Library Collection” in order to get more results. Be aware, though, that those additional results will tend not to be available as full text and may require using Interlibrary Loan in order to get the additional items.
If you are interested in e-books, you can limit your search results to only e-books via the left-hand menu options. Scroll down the page until you see “Limit by Source Type” and then click on “Show More”:
Then scroll down the list of available Source Types until you can see “eBooks”:
Click on the eBooks box to put a check mark in it, and then click on the Update button to see only ebooks.
