Faces of Northern: Meet Kelly Wunderlich
Northern Seminary is comprised of people who are excited about what God is doing in the world today and who believe that Northern plays an important role in equipping and inspiring church leaders of today and tomorrow. In this series, Faces of Northern, we invite you to learn more about those who make Northern what it is today. Here, we get to know Kelly Wunderlich, Northern’s Academic Advisor.

What is your role at Northern and how long have you been here?
Academic Advisor. I started August 1, 2022. I also graduated from Northern with a Mdiv in 2015.
What is your favorite part of your job?
The people and the students I get to help.
What is the best book you have read in the past year?
The Bible, but anything for fun would be from Norwegian writer Joe Nesbo.
What is your go-to scripture verse?
Proverbs 3:5-6
If you have a free day with no responsibilities, what would you fill that day with?
Reading, working in the yard, and bike riding
Who has impacted you the most?
Jesus, Mother Theresa, and my grandmother
If you were stuck on a deserted island, what three things would you want?
- A bottle for water
- Matches to start a fire
- A knife to catch some fish
