Six Questions from a New President

The last time I was President of anything, my term expired in one year. I was President of my high school Senior class, and I won that election by the slimmest of majorities. (There were only 50 students in my class.) The highlights of my administration were laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and speaking at graduation. Needless to say, the skill set and expectations are a little different as President of Northern.

So I need your help. I have a huge learning curve and could not possibly meet personally with everyone I want to see. Would you help me by answering the following questions? Send them to me by April 15 (you can remember that date). Unless you want me to share your name, I’ll keep the source confidential. Your answers will help me get to know us– and you– even better.

– When people graduate from Northern, what difference has Northern made on their lives?

– What excites you about Northern right now?

– In the next three years, what do you hope God is calling Northern to do?

– What impact would you like to see Northern have on your church and community?

– What three things do you want to preserve and/or change about Northern and why?

– How can I pray for you and your ministry?
